Votre mission

The Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring the quality of products and processes within the factory. Compliance with quality management systems such as ISO 9001 is maintained, and continuous improvement activities are coordinated.

 Incoming, in-process, and final quality controls are managed, non-conformities are analyzed, and corrective and preventive actions are implemented.

Customer complaints are followed up, root cause analyses are conducted, and long-term solutions are ensured.

Quality initiatives aimed at increasing customer satisfaction are led. Supplier quality performance is monitored, and necessary improvement actions are initiated.

The management, training, and performance evaluation of the quality team are also included within the scope of this role.



MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Quality Management System Oversight



  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other relevant quality standards.

  • Maintain and regularly update quality documentation and procedures.

  • Support internal and external audits and ensure readiness.

Quality Control Supervision

  • Oversee incoming, in-process, and final product inspections.

  • Define control plans, sampling methods, and quality checkpoints.

  • Analyze inspection results and take action on deviations.

Customer Complaint Handling

  • Investigate customer complaints and perform root cause analysis (e.g., 5 Whys, Ishikawa).

  • Define and implement corrective and preventive actions.

  • Communicate results and actions clearly to customers and internal teams.

 

Continuous Improvement Coordination

  • Identify improvement opportunities using data and process feedback.

  • Lead or participate in Kaizen, 8D, or similar improvement projects.

  • Follow up on actions and measure effectiveness.

 

Supplier Quality Management

  • Evaluate and monitor supplier performance through audits and KPIs.

  • Manage non-conforming materials and initiate corrective actions.

  • Develop collaboration with suppliers for quality improvements.

 

Team Leadership and Training

  • Assign tasks and provide daily guidance to the quality team.

  • Organize training sessions on quality tools, standards, and procedures.

  • Conduct regular performance reviews and support development.

 

Reporting and Communication

  • Prepare quality performance reports (e.g., defect rates, complaint trends).

  • Share findings with management and relevant departments.

  • Ensure clear and structured communication of quality-related topics.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Professional Qualifications



-        Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field (Master’s degree is a plus)

-        Minimum 5 years of experience in quality management, including at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role

-        Proven track record in implementing and maintaining quality management systems (preferably ISO 9001)

-        Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally in the HVAC sector or metal industry

-        Formal training or certification in quality management (e.g., Quality Manager (EOQ), Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, Lead Auditor ISO 9001), Shainin Expert

-        Familiarity with relevant directives and standards (e.g., PED, CE marking, material traceability)



Personal Competencies

-        Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive quality culture

-        Experience in handling customer complaints and audits from OEMs or international clients is a strong advantage

-        Analytical thinker with structured work style and hands-on mentality

-        High level of accountability, integrity, and ability to lead by example

-        Comfortable managing change, complexity, and ambiguity

-        Proven ability to inspire teams, foster collaboration, and deliver results

-        Language skills: english fluent and german miimum B1-level
